NBC's 'The Voice' judging panel decided to welcome Chicagoan Michael Lynch to the competition after three judges turned their chairs impressed by Lynch’s singing talent, during the show blind auditions that took place on Monday. Lynch eventually chose the judge Christina Aguilera as his mentor.
Lynch shared during the broadcast his Chicago origins, and Irish heritage. He shocked the crowd by singing a cover of the bilingual hit ‘Bailamos’ by Enrique Iglesias that required him to go from English to Spanish during his performance. The audience received a special treat when Aguilera joined Lynch on stage to sing a duet together of the same song while showing off her dance moves.
Good luck, Michael!
