Theirs is no doubt that George Clooney is a stand up guy. The German newspaper Bild reports that Clooney and some friends were dining at the Grill Royal restaurant in Berlin and were being rather boisterous. Fearing that his party may have been too loud, Clooney secretly paid the $120 tab of a man diningat a nearby table. When the stranger went to pay his bill he was informed that Clooney had covered it because he was worried his party had disturbed him. But the man said Clooney and his friends weren’t too loud at all and said they “behaved in a very cultivated manner.” It wasn’t until the man left the restaurant that he realized it was Clooney who paid the bill.

We reported yesterday that Beyonce’s Super Bowl half-time show will feature a reunion of Destiny’s Child, but now one member of the group says the rumors are not true. When asked about the upcoming performance, Michelle Williams claimed she was going to be busy doing something else on Super Bowl Sunday. “That’s not confirmed, it’s rumored. I’m going to be in the musical Fela!,” she said. “I hate to disappoint people and tell them that it’s not true.” But it appears as though Williams isn’t telling the whole truth. If you go to the Fela! website and try to buy tickets, it clearly states, “Michelle Williams will not be appearing January 31st – February 3rd,” which means she’s totally available to be at the Super Bowl.

Bradley Cooper has denied internet reports claiming he’s in talks to play Lance Armstrong in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming film on the disgraced cyclist. “Oh my god, that’s so nuts,” he told Access Hollywood on the SAG Awards red carpet. “I didn’t even know that J.J. has the rights (to the story), I had no idea.” Of course should Cooper eventually sign on it wouldn’t be his first time working with Abrams. Cooper starred alongside Jennifer Garner in Abrams’ ABC spy series Alias.
